Principal of William Brummett Architects, Bill Brummett brings almost 30 years of experience focusing on innovative and user-centered design and programming for seniors and others with special needs, particularly those with dementia or other meaningful health challenges. His work spans the entire continuum of care, and includes work in Colorado, California, Oregon, Utah, Missouri and Maine. He has authored 4 books, including the award-winning “The Essence of Home: Design Solutions for Assisted Living Housing,” and "Creating Environments of Support: A Handbook for Dementia-Responsive Design," (with co-author Sarah Campernel). Bill has conducted over 20 industry research projects, served on a number of non-profit Boards of Directors including a current tenure on the Colorado Alzheimer’s Association and 8 years on the Colorado Leading Age Board, and presented at regional and national conferences.
